Some may know the Dorny family – they have lived in San Elijo Hills for many years. Their son Dylan is a part of our soccer community. He has played in our Matrix club, and also has volunteered as an AYSO referee. About 6 months ago, he suffered a traumatic brain injury due to a serious car accident. After months of hospitalization, he is now home and everyone is so thankful
After multiple rounds of critical therapy in the hospital, Dylan is now in an intensive day treatment program. He just finished his third week, and everyone feels strongly that he needs to continue this support 5 days a week, as they are trying to help him become more independent and be able to transition back to school this fall. He is specifically struggling with double vision, cognitive impairments, and memory retention, amongst others. Dylan continues to be optimistic and motivated to do all he can to continue to recover.
We will be donating all funds from the Opening Day Crossbar Challenge to the Dorny family. Please come out and show your support for a truly great SEH community cause.
